A Good Faith Estimate is to provide current and new patients who are uninsured or self pay with an estimate of expected charges before you get an item or service. EMDR is a form of psychotherapy that helps you safely process past traumas and store them into long-term memory, where they won’t wreak havoc on your nervous system.
EMDR enables the patient to recall a trauma memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation to reduce the intensity and emotional tie to the memory. The bilateral movements are typically eye movements, but may also involve tapping. EMDR safely reprocess and stores these memories in the brain’s long-term memory storage.
